our second stay in wateringbury was just as amazing as the first. the apartment at carriage lodge was even better than expected. everything was neat, tidy, and clean, and the kitchenette area was very handy. the shower was excellent and the bed was incredibly comfortable. we had a lovely, quiet stay and felt well taken care of.

it's an ideal base for overnight stay while in wateringbury. the venue has peaceful and marvellous setting in the middle of the city. has exceptionally comfortable beds.

Although the apartment was well-executed in terms of decor and amenities, the TV and electric hob were a bit difficult to navigate without proper instructions. The internet connection was also a bit unreliable, causing disruptions when trying to stream shows on Disney Plus and Netflix.

The apartment had a fancy garden, perfect for pretending I have a green thumb. London City Airport is nearby, in case I suddenly feel the urge to jet off to glamorous destinations. And oh, the towels were simply divine!

Oh dear, no milk in the apartment! I guess it's completely normal for posh places to forget such mundane things.

The kitchen hob worked perfectly, and we appreciated the coffee, tea, and real milk provided. The host was helpful and bailed us out when we forgot our paperwork. We also enjoyed the quiet location and the spacious bathroom.

The TV was a bit tricky to use, and we couldn't find the stations we wanted to watch or listen to. It took us some time to figure out how to work the electric hob and turn it off.

The bathroom door couldn't be closed properly due to the size difference between the door and the frame. This was inconvenient and lacked privacy.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The feeling of privacy was brilliant, as it is set in an outbuilding adjacent to the main house. The apartment was very well stocked and had all the amenities I needed, making it feel like a home away from home. It was also great that I could stay here with my 18-month-old child.
